Fire and EMS Training

The tragic events of 9/11 have thrust the nation’s fire departments to the forefront in the war against terrorism. Never before has the fire service been charged with such a dizzying array of responsibilities and mandates, such as bio-terrorism training, increased haz-mat and weapons of mass destruction awareness training and contamination and quarantine training.

With these mandates comes the challenging task of preparation, training, documentation and certification. Add to this the normal responsibilities of firefighting and EMS response, training and documentation and you can quickly realize the momentous tasks which face each department and fire chief.

Fire Safety Management, Inc. can assist your department in meeting these challenges. We have over 30 years experience in the fire service and can provide your department with the knowledge and experience that comes with that. Among the many ways we can help would be to:

  • provide training for your officers and members in fire fighting basics
  • provide fire ground tactical training, such as size up, search and apparatus placement and use
  • provide your department with fire prevention training
  • provide your community with a fire prevention program
  • provide your department with basic haz-mat training
  • provide access to NFPA publications for research and training
  • provide “hands on” training drills for your department, set up as either a single drill or a package of drills tailored to your departments needs
  • These are just some of the ways that we can assist your department, your fire chief and your community. Let us be there to help you through the ever increasing maze of preparation, training and documentation .
